Guides Normandy is an association of professional guides, all of whom hold the official guide license issued by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism following university studies (Bachelor’s degree in guided tours, Master’s degree, or through a validation of prior experience – VAE). It brings together around fifty professional guides covering the regions of Normandy, Brittany, Île-de-France, and Hauts-de-France. The platform was established with the primary mission of providing professional guides to public and private operators interested in exploring or showcasing our region.
Guides Normandy works closely with associations of tour guides and is a founding member of the Guides de France project.
We operate throughout Normandy, as well as in Paris, Brittany, and the Hauts-de-France region.
We have pooled our expertise to offer you a platform of high-quality activities available for booking 7 days a week. The Guides Normandy platform allows you to book an activity, an excursion, or a guided tour at nearly 200 sites across Normandy and neighboring regions such as Île-de-France, Hauts-de-France, and Brittany.

Promotion of the profession of tour guiding. The platform takes on an advocacy role: it supports the professional card issued by the Ministry of Culture after university studies (equivalent to bachelor’s to master’s level, with a professional license in tour guiding or master’s degree) and advocates for the creation, at the European level, of a common European tour guide card shared by France, Spain, Italy, Greece, and Portugal.
